Meet Dr. David Lavine
Countless times, I have treated someone who was too embarrassed to even crack a smile at their initial visit but are unable to contain their grin after undergoing orthodontic treatment. I am proud that I am able to make a real and positive difference in the lives of our patients. Not only do we help patients to improve their appearance, we decrease the chances that our patients will have problems with their teeth, gums, or jaws as they age. In this respect, orthodontics truly is a scientific as well as an artistic endeavor.

I attend many orthodontic specialty meetings and continuing education courses. These venues allow me to keep up on the latest techniques and trends so that I am able to provide my patients with the most up-to-date treatment modalities possible. In addition, my affiliation with local study clubs allows the exchange of ideas between general dentists and specialists in the suburban Maryland area.

Outside the Office
I have lived in Annapolis, Maryland for many years and I have made a lovely home here with my wife, Debbie, our kids, Jacob and Jessica. I am an avid fisherman and boater. I enjoy going to the beach and listening to music. I also love spending time with my family.
I am proud that my office is constantly participating in charity events, such as food drives for a local food bank, visiting a local hospice around the holidays, and participating in various walks for charity such as the Komen Breast Cancer three day (60 mile) walk!
